Catering

  • We offer full-service catering. Your event is serviced by one of our professionally trained staff members readily available to meet your needs. Every buffet table is beautifully appointed, styled with fresh floral arrangements, handwritten chalkboard menus, and exquisitely plated. We are not your typical catering service. No detail is too small in making your special event a successful one. Our tasteful decor is custom designed for your event and the atmosphere you want to create. We always select the appropriate decorations according to your taste and color preferences as well as the style of the venue.

  • Our Executive Chef will be happy to customize menus and service proposals to meet specific needs for your special occasion. We are here to assist in making your special event planning as comfortable as possible.

    • Price per person ranges from $18-$75  based on menu selection.

    • Linen & Plating rental is available for an additional charge.

    • Decor selection is an additional charge.

    • 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. 

    • $500.00 minimum for all off-property catering services with the exception of executive lunch drop-offs.

Whether it may be a corporate meeting or a wedding, we have spent years building long-term relationships with only the very best vendors in town. We work with only the very best to provide our customers with the perfect experience. 

 

Our team is focused on ensuring that your event runs smoothly and on schedule. Once the event planning and development are complete and the event arrives, you can be sure that our event managers will be there directing the process every step of the way. We specialize in serving a wide range of clients in exceptional event logistics.

 

Onsite registration and event logistics are flawlessly executed long before our staff and production team arrives on site. We meticulously plan each component of the event in a detailed production schedule and run of the show, guaranteeing an efficient program.

 

We coordinate with the venue, vendors, food and beverage, speakers, sponsors, and performers on-site to effectively deliver the event. We frequently assist the customer in the management of attendee and VIP guests in both pre-event communications, and onsite logistics. We offer the following event logistics:

Charcuterie & Crudite Displays

An edible, table-scaped art arrangement. A grazing experience evokes conversation and celebration of guests around the arrangements of food. Breaking the monotony of traditional catering, it will leave the guests enamored around the beautiful Grazing Table by The Board Couple.

Delicatessen charcuterie meats, such as Genoa, Several other types of salami and prosciutto rosettes decorate the table. Rivers of fresh fruit, such as grapes and berries, are surrounded by embankments of nuts and chocolate. Centerpieces Of cheese, like the honeycomb adorned or blackberry wojapi wheels of Brie or the fruit-drenched goat cheese, will have people gravitating around the table; stopping only to appreciate the art of the food-made decor. Fresh artisan breads & crackers will be cascaded throughout the table along with spreads/preserves.  Serves 30 guests $450.00 pricing rises depending on the number of guests.

  • Small Grazing Board Serves 4-6 grazers $85.00

  • Medium Gathering Grazing Board up to 12 grazers $150.00

  • Large The Presentation Grazing Board up to 20 grazers $200.00

  • The Feast 30+ $450.00 increases depending on  the number of grazers 

7.5% prepared food tax & 20% gratuity is charged for all orders 

Personal Chef & Cooking Classes

Our unique hands-on cooking classes are like none other you have experienced. Join us in our intimate, beautifully appointed private dining room, Our classes take you on a personal journey of learning not only how to prepare a delicious recipe, but refreshing pointers on cooking techniques all the while enjoying a sensory experience of smell, touch, interaction and of course taste. Not only do you get to learn you also have the opportunity to enjoy the delicious meal as well. Bring friends, family, or the perfect date night. Kim works hard in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Not only will you leave with more knowledge you will also leave with the new friends and a sense of broader community. $65.00 per person a maximum of 10 guests / 8 people minimum required for your private cooking class. 

 

Classes to choose from 

Charcuterie: Learn all about the most delicious artisan European cheeses, cured charcuterie meats, how to marinate your own cheeses and olives at home, learn how to curate your very own board at home for years to come. Includes your own charcuterie board to take home with you. 

 

Springrolls, Wontons, and Sushi 

Learn with an extremely hands-on cooking class on how to prepare some of your favorites sure to impress your friends and family. 

 

Paella 

Learn how to make his beautiful impressive, and our very favorite Spanish dish to prepare. Includes delicious seafood from our friends at Dakota Seafood, smoked sausage and chicken. Once you learn how to make this dish you will never want to make anything else. 

 

Seasonal Appetizers 

We all need to know how to make beautiful impressive appetizers that we can bring to any party or when we are hosting. Learn how to make at least 4 seasonal appetizers sure to impress everyone! 

 

The in-home cooking lesson is like hosting a live cooking show right in your home. One of our talented personal chefs will help you plan a menu with dishes for you and your guests to learn how to make and enjoy! You can join in and help or hang out and socialize while the chef talks and cooks through a delicious meal.

Special Event Rental, Private Dining & Meeting Space Rental 

Our Beautifully Designed Private Dining Room is quiet, elegant and there is nothing like it in South  Dakota. The handmade harvest table is the perfect setting for a delicious group dinner, a tea party, or even a strategic planning session for your team.  Surrounded by bright windows, family recipes adorn the walls, and hand-painted floral wallpaper is the perfect setting for creating a comfortably sophisticated environment for whatever intimate event you may be planning.  There is a $200.00 room rental fee without ordering food.
